Deaconess (DCNS) Mrs. Kate Ngozi Okafor is a highly motivated and accomplished professional who is dedicated to making a positive impact in her community. She has a track record of successfully initiating, implementing, and empowering life-changing programs that have benefited thousands of underserved individuals. Her leadership has been instrumental in various areas such as Poverty Alleviation Programs, Healthcare Initiatives, College Fund Initiatives, and Care for the Motherless, which have collectively impacted over 25,000 individuals.

DCNS Okafor has also been actively involved in politics and government activities, having served as a member of the Anambra State Gubernatorial Election Monitoring Team for two consecutive terms in 2012 and 2014, as well as being a delegate in the USA-led Anambra State Government Project Evaluation Team during the first and second tenures of ex-governor Peter Obi.

In addition to her community and political involvement, DCNS Okafor has a wealth of professional experience. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at Baltimore City Community College and Morgan State University, as well as an Educator/ALTMSA Coordinator in the Baltimore City Public School System from 2004 to 2006. She has also worked as a Functional/Data Analyst with the State of Maryland. Her leadership roles extend to being a chairperson, director, member of the board of trustees, and president of various organizations and corporations.
